WHAT'S THE BIG IDEA?

Nicaragua online marketing

This is simply a demonstration of how we think about web sites -- there is method in the madness.

1) What the hell is that a picture of? It's a photo of a painting by an Austrian artist named Gustav Lehman. Why is it there? Most web, marketing, or technology companies use really bad stock photography of smiling people with laptops or sitting in board rooms shaking hands. We don't think you're so dumb that those type of images would help sell anything. We think Lehman is interesting, We want you to think that we are interesting.

2) That background is designed to have a vibrating effect. My girlfriend told me to get rid of it because it's ugly. I'm ignoring that advice. It should create a sense of urgency to your reading. We want you to read. Trouble is it may backfire, and have you clicking away already.

3) The writing is imbued with a sense of humor, because we like it that way. Honesty and candor are disarming. The wordplay might be overkill, but it's fun, and we have to have fun while we work, or else we should just join the army.

4) Since finding a company name that is easy to spell and is dot-com available is near to impossible, we made one up, idea being mushrooms grow over night, push is what marketing is all about, and room is what everybody wants: room to move, room to grow, room to live.

5) The copy ends with a "call to action." The explanation is followed with a suggestion. You're being pitched something and asked to take the next step. Get it? Conact us, and we'll tell you more. (Wink!) HOME
